FMCG brands turn to direct selling online

"More than a quarter of food and grocery manufactures (27%) are considering building branded ecommerce stores to sell products directly to consumers, according to research by grocery analyst IGD. Companies such as GlaxoSmithKline have already launched online stores to better understand customers’ online shopping habits and improve marketing."
