DU team expands

Not the most added value post I'll write, but it would be very rude not to welcome new members of the team publicly into the DU fold and also to, in a non-shouty way, let the wider world know just how we're constantly expanding our competencies and therefore our value, usefulness and the strength of our offering to potential clients...

...And so without further ado, it gives me great pleasure to welcome on-board the good ship DU the following stellar talents:

  • Dean is a well known and respected designer and joins us with a commitment to media-neutral aesthetics (regardless of the target platform or traditional print medium, quite simply he will make the design work in an uncompromised manner)
  • Dominic joins us from a series of successful entrepreneurial adventures building on his experience at Epic Plc and Babel. He heads up our games development division, but not just high-end Flash games that challenge what is possible in that particular media. Given how much we like efficiency here at DU, we are also lucky to have in-house proprietary Flash technology (games engines, modified middleware, you name it). Most usefully, we are approved Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft and Apple developers
  • Gail is an experienced copywriter who learnt her trade with the likes of Saatchi & Saatchi, Bates Dorland, Ogilvy and Mather. Currently honing her SEOptimised skills, she really is rather good.
  • Roan is an award-winning designer and front-end developer, lead designer on the Free Agent accounting software product which we use ourselves because it's rather good.
They are all lovely people and look forward to working on the most exciting commissions our current and future clients can throw at us.

It's Friday afternoon and the first Friday of the month which means it's time for beers in the studio. Cheers!
